Artwork
Watercolor is my preferred medium for capturing luminous light and the beauty of the New Mexico landscape. It's lightweight and easy to carry, so I paint both outdoors and in the studio. New work is added regularly, so check back often. Be the first to know when new work is available by subscribing to my newsletter.

Southwest Landscapes
Once a month, you'll find me teaching watercolor workshops at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM. I take students on field trips to my favorite painting locations in the area. Many of these paintings were created during those excursions. Each return offers new light, new weather, and another opportunity to observe a landscape that never feels the same twice.

Interiors
My interior paintings explore the dialogue between observation and invention, transforming everyday objects, remembered places, and organic forms through mixed-media experimentation. Influences from Matisse, O'Keeffe, the Surrealists, and Transcendentalists find their way into the work.

Celestial & Surreal
Sometimes you gotta shake it up! Moving beyond observation and into a world of imagination and play, these paintings move between watercolor and gouache on black paper, where light and color glow against the darkness. Across both, familiar landscapes give way to radiant clouds, strange forms, and wildly colorful plants and rocks.
Commission a painting
